About Me
I am Neo Jo Anne from Melaka, with a Communications Degree.
Presently I do illustrations and writing as a freelancer and prior to this I was an intern in a digital marketing technology consultancy. I've had experience with production and recruitment with 5 months and 11 months experience respectively.
Some takeaway skills I got from these past experiences include social media and email marketing, content creation and ideation, planning and coordination, as well as some design skills.
I also gained better communication skills with potential prospects and partners over the phone as well as face to face with which I am able to communicate, write and present proficiently in English. I am able to communicate conversationally in Malay as well.
In a technical sense, I am able to use programs like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign and Canva to edit and design and I have also had experience using MailChimp to automate email marketing. Otherwise, I am able to utilize Google Suites and Microsoft Office.
Personally I enjoy behind the scenes productions and planning, which includes writing, illustrating and ideating. This has lead me to be involved with theatre and short film as well as a volunteer designer for a Suicide Prevention campaign.
Some things I feel deeply for are for people, creativity and truly bringing value to people's lives.
I look forward to being further inspired by meeting new people to share new experiences with and I am always looking for ways to learn, challenge and improve myself!
