If you need any writing done, if you need someone to engage with your audience, entrance them and encapsulate their attention with the magic of words, I can weave you a piece that would capture the minds of rational and calculating individuals, the poetry breathing hearts of a romantic or the distraction seeking everyday man.
Hi! I am Aiman and writing is something that I have done for as long as I can remember. I have an excellent command of English with a good knowledge of literary techniques and how they can influence my writing. I also have a strong awareness of various audiences and how I may need to adjust my style according to their demographic.
Being a student still, I have yet to claim any working experience or earn a degree but what I lack in experience, I make up for in my drive and capability. I have received A+ in both of my Malay and English papers for my SPM and I was awarded the Outstanding Learner Award by Cambridge for my top score in my A Level English Language paper, both as a homeschooling private candidate which demonstrates my dedication and capability in writing, as well as running self conducted researches for my exam preparations.
I have volunteered at a research agency, where I was assigned to collect and analyse data, and at a non government organisation (NGO) where I helped with event management. I have experiences in public speaking, both live and on camera, which gives me an awareness of the difference between writing for a reader or a listener.
I am very fluent in both English and Malay with excellent grammar skills and a personal interest in linguistics and I can help you with editing and proofreading in both languages. I have an elementary Arabic (reading) and elementary Spanish (reading, writing and speaking) language skills which gives me a wider understanding of different cultures and how language use changes within different societies. I can do translation work between English and Malay or copywrite for you in both languages. I can also translate simple Spanish writing (eg: news articles) into English or Malay.
